James departed this life on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN, at the age of 73. James loved his family and leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Roxanne; children, Jamar Rich, Jametra Jackson, both of Fort Wayne, James (Lelia) Flowers of Kingsland, GA, Ronald (Anazette) Harris, and Georgette (Rasheen Muhammad) Bradley of Chester, PA; siblings, Gina Flowers Grant, Beverly (Glenn) Tate of Fort Wayne, Calvin (Brondolyn) Goldsmith of Dallas, TX, Kareemah Ameen, and Mary (Rev. Ernest) Starks of Fort Wayne; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, and former wife, Margaret Flowers. 
 

James was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. George, and Elsie Flowers; brothers, John, Frank, Eddie, and Elliott; sister, Joyce Dickey; daughter, Venir Harris; grandsons, Jamal (Peanut) Rich, Darrell (Beannie) Jackson, Kwame Roberston, Ronald Harris Jr., and Jabril Bradley.
