Jason M. Vaughn

Jason Michael Vaughn, a longtime resident of the Fort Wayne, IN passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.

Born in 1978 in Los Angeles, CA, Jason and his family moved back to Fort Wayne shortly after he was born.  
 

Jason had a spectacular smile, a very kind heart, and a terrific sense of humor that made everyone around him feel warm and welcomed.  Jason loved children, he enjoyed socializing, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need, he was skillful at using colorful language (just like his mother), he liked playing bingo with his friends, and more than anything he loved taking care of his beautiful canine companion Queenie.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Vaughn and his father, William Wilson (Bama).  
 

He is survived by his siblings, Tiffany, Tina, and Tony; his sister-in-law, Marquita;  his cousins, Dawn and Brittany, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and very close friends.

Ellis Funeral Home located at 1021 East Lewis Street has been entrusted with the homegoing arrangements for Jason.  
 

A viewing has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 11am to 12pm  at the funeral home with an informal celebration of Jason’s life following from 12pm to 1pm.  

Social distancing and face coverings will be required while inside the funeral home.  Limited seating for immediate family for service.
