Mother Jessie Lee Noel

Mother Jessie Lee (Jones) Noel affectionately known as "Gramps" by almost everyone was born on July 25, 1926 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She departed this life at the age of 93 on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

She was a longtime member of Pilgrim Baptist Church and retired from the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center.

Mother Noel leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Beatrice Noel; sons, Curtis (Bobie) Noel, Donald (Linda) Noel, Quincy (Martha) Noel, Gregory (Brenda) Noel, Tyrone Noel and Lecester Noel along with a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Mother Noel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Isaiah Noel; a sister, Mary Ziglar; daughter, Opal "Bonnie" Noel and two grandchildren.

Mother Noel will be laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens
