Joan “Joani” M. Phillips was born May 30, 1962 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She departed this life on June 21, 2022. 

She was a 1980 graduate of Northrop High School and later obtained her cosmetologist license.

Joani, as she was affectionately called, enjoyed swimming and hanging out at the pool.  In her later years, she enjoyed  styling and makeup.   She was avid gardener who loved growing sunflowers.

She always had a smile on her face. She never met a stranger and always offered up compliments to anyone in her presence.

Joani leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Morgan Phillips; son, Chris Lichty; sister, Anna (Larry) First; four grandchildren, whom she adored; grandpup, Peanut, along with several other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ann Linsky and brother, Neil Linsky.
