Joseph (Joe) A. Ausdran passed away on Friday August 4, 2023. He was one of seven children, born April 7, 1942, to Theodore and Ruby (Throneburg) Ausdran Sr. in Fort Wayne, IN and attended Central High School. Joe married Janet Burns on November 22, 1963. Joe and Jan had three daughters. He retired from International Harvester/ Navistar after 30 years. Joe was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1975 and a member of Fremont Congregation in Angola, IN. Joe is survived by his wife Janet and three daughters Lori (Mark) Benson, Michelle (David) Ellis, Nicole (Michael) Fagan. Grandkids Caitlin (Darren) Bontrager, Corey (Demi) Ellis, Taylor Fagan, Trayton Fagan and Kyle Ellis along with three great grandchildren. Brothers Theodore Ausdran, Albert Ausdran and Sister Sharon (Eugene) Jahn.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister Charlene Ruff, and Brothers Bobby and Gary, along with Granddaughter Vanessa Ellis.

The memorial will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 3pm at the Fremont High School auditorium, 701 Toledo St., Fremont, IN,  with a dinner to follow in the cafeteria.   Please contact the family for Zoom information. Space is limited.
