Joyce Lynn Dickey, age 69, was born on May 29, 1952 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late George and Elsie Flowers. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 21, 2021.

Joyce was a faithful member of Pilgrim Baptist Church where she joined at an early age. 

After graduating from Central High School in 1970, Joyce was employed with Lincoln Life Insurance Company for 29 years and with Fort Wayne Community Schools for 12 years. 

Joyce is survived by her faithful, loving, and devoted husband, Jerome Dickey; two daughters, Jametra (Harvey) Hinton of Graham, North Carolina and Jerrilynn Dickey of Chesapeake, Virginia; four sisters, Gina Flowers, Beverly (Glenn) Tate, Kareemah Ameen, and Mary (Rev. Earnest) Starks; two brothers, James Flowers Sr. and Calvin Goldsmith (Brondolyn) of Dallas Texas; two beautiful granddaughters, Maia and Sanura; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

She will be laid to rest Concordia Gardens Cemetery .
