"Kelvin Eugene Gatlin was born on March 11,1960 to Robert and Olevia Gatlin in Detroit, Michigan.  His siblings that passed before him are his five brothers, Hardy Gatlin, Edward Gatlin, Billy Gatlin, Robert Gatlin, Lee Gatlin; and one sister, Patricia Gatlin. Kelvin leaves behind two living siblings, his brother, James Gatlin and sister Bobbie Gatlin; two daughters, Carmel Hussey and April Robinson; two sons, JuJuan Brockman and Marcell Gatlin; four grandkids, Thomes Hussey, Caliph Robinson, Jakobe Knox and Nalaya Brockman; and a host of nieces and nephews.                                                                                                                                                                                       

Kelvin had so many amazing talents. He was a gifted singer and songwriter (Ghostwriter). He was an outstanding father, cook, handyman and the list goes on. But most importantly, he believed in GOD. Kelvin also had a big heart and the ones who got to experience it were lucky. He would give you the shirt off his back without a second thought
