Korta Queary

Korta Seon Queary was born October 19, 1977 to Bridget Queary and the late Curly Johnson.  He departed this life on Friday, May 24, 2019.

He attended Fort Wayne Community Schools and was employed by General Mills. Korta enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends.  He believed in giving back to his community as he volunteered in the Garden of Eden at the Eden Green Apartment Complex.

Korta was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gertrude and Ludie Johnson and maternal grandfather, Henry Woodson.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his mother, Bridget Queary; grandmother, Liflo Queary; his wonderful children, Diana Griggs, Tionna Rogan, Korta Thomas and Deresha Whitt; brothers, Breck Queary, Damion Johnson, and D’Angelo Black; sisters, Kiwanna (Edwin) Wimby and Denise Black; two grandchildren and special family members, Natasha, Natina, Randall and Phillip Gibson.

Korta will be laid to rest in Concordia Gardens Cemetery
