We honor the remarkable journey of Lisa Hughes, a woman whose life was defined by integrity, warmth and an unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Born on May 13, 1965, Lisa walked through the world with a gentle strength and a spirit that brought light to every room she entered.
Born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was a mother of four and a stay at home mom. She enjoyed many simple pleasures in life, including singing, cooking and sewing. Whether she was preparing a meal for loved ones, creating something with her hands or filling a room with song, she brought warmth and joy to those around her. Above all else, she cherished her role as a mother and found her greatest happiness in spending time with her children and family.
Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie L. Stewart and Robert L. Stewart; sister Debbie Ann Parker; brother, Michael D. Stewart; and 2 nephews, Anton Stewart and Antonio Stewart Jr.
Left to cherish all of her loving memories are her children, Latoya Stewart, Cory Stewart, Nicole (Allen) Scott, and Anthony W. Hughes Jr.; 3 brothers, Parker Lee Stewart, Robert Earl (Joann) Stewart and Keith (Lashanda) Hinton; 14 grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
