MARGARET GRUNDY JOHNSON, of Fort Wayne and Rehoboth Beach, Del.,living in the District of Columbia, peacefully transitioned this earth on Friday, March 12, 2021, 2:40 p.m., in Lewes Beach, Del.

Born April 8, 1928, in Springfield, Ky., she was a daughter of James and Eliza Grundy, and a proud mother of two, William Maurice Lee and Judith Elaine Johnson.

Margaret, the Matriarch of the Grundy/Johnson families, oversaw six generations of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and loved the Lord.
 

She leaves her devoted children; her beloved granddaughters, Melissa Pierce (Victor), Anita LeShore and Jessica Stephens; and in-laws, Clay Simpson, Frank Cannon and Barbara Johnson. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Felix William Johnson.
