Mary Delorise Sales was called home on Monday February 10, 2025 surrounded by Family. Mary was born on March 28, 1955 in Marks, Mississippi to Louise and Stacy Lawrence Sr. At a young age they moved to Charleston, Missouri were she was raised. As she got older she moved to Cairo, Illinois and accepted the Lord as her savior before she met the love of her life Montro Sales Jr. and they married on December 27, 1975. They were married for 45 years. While living in Cairo Mary was working as a Housekeeper and nanny. Mary was very active in COGIC, she started as the Sunshine band President, aspiring missionary, YPWW President, YWCC Treasure, Purity Leader, active song leader in the choir, Usher President and over the cooking committee. Mary had got her GED in 1985.

In 1990 Her and her family moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. Where she worked as a CNA at Saint Anne nursing home and Supervisor over the dietary department at Lutheran Nursing home. When Mary retired she babysat and sold dinners.Mary Loved people, she housed many people in her home to live. She was a mother not only to her four but many others.

Mary D. was a very strong woman who endured a lot of challenges in her body, but not once she did complain about it. She always said “If God don’t heal me, I know that he can.” “She also says count your blessings name them one by one, count your many blessings and see what God has done.” So her life could encourage others to “Walk with Jesus”.

Proceeded in death by both parents, and Godmother Hellen Dance. Sisters: Lucille Sales and Shirley Lawrence. Brothers: Bobby Freeman, William (Billy) Freeman, Larry Lawrence Sr. Stacy Lyons, her husband Montro Sales Jr. and Daughter Donna Lawrence.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her children Tracy (Jennifer) Lawerence, Austin TX. Margaretta Sales Killeen, Tx And Vernida “Marie” Robinson Nashville, TN.

9 Grandchildren Brittny, Traylon, TeLea, Arianna, Trent, Myasia, Myala, Makayla and Tracy) 11 great grand children and 1 great great grand. Brothers Henry Lyons, Bobby Lawrence, Albert Lawerence, David (Kirsten) Lawrence. Sisters Dorothy (Warner) Shillow, Erma (Luke) Waters, Betty (Alan) Butler. Special Goddaughters Ka’Rin Eldridge, La’Tina Davis, Talanda Rucker. Special God sisters Rochelle Dance and Ann Wespon. Special Son Marcello Robinson. Special nephews Martrell, Justin and Jesse dance and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
