Mattie L. Stewart Obituary

Mattie Louise Stewart was born on March 18, 1938 in Marion, Alabama to her late mother and father.

Thanks to the staff of Stillwater Hospice, she was not alone when she departed her life on June 12, 2022.

She accepted God into her life and became a faithful and devoted member of True Love Missionary Baptist Church, under the current leadership of Pastor Robert Bell.

Mattie was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Stewart;  two sisters; two brothers, James and Willie Brisco; daughters, Rosland E. Stewart and Debbie Ann Parker; son, Michael D. Stewart; grandson, Antonio Stewart and great grandson, Antonio Stewart, Jr.

Left to cherish all her loving and joyous memories are her children, Lisa (Tony) Hughes, Parker Lee Stewart, and Robert Earl (JoAnn) Stewart; 10 grandkids; 30 great grandkids and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
