Mildred (Bridgett) Williams, age 83 made her transition on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Mildred was born April 5, 1937 in Union Springs, Alabama in Bullock County to the late Ben Cody and Vinnie Bridgett Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Floyd Williams, son David Williams, granddaughters Shaneka Boone and Alissa Robinson.
Mildred attended culinary school and worked as a dietary cook at St. Anne’s Nursing home in the early seventies. She later retired from Zollner in the late nineties.
Mildred was a long-time faithful and loyal member of Tree of Life Baptist Church. To cherish her memories are her children Linda King of Indianapolis, IN, Donny Williams, Dennis Williams and Dorothy Williams of Fort Wayne, IN; 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
