Phyllis Marie Stapleton was born June 26, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Earnest, Sr. and Letha Hill. She passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at the age of 62.
 

She was a “childcare whisperer” she not only nurtured her own children but her nieces, nephews, grand, her childrens friends, and grandchildren friends! Her absence will be a void for many, she was truly loved and cared for “she was a big baby, and she loved it.”

She leaves behind her children, LaQuisha (Jason) Woodson, Larry Stapleton, Jr., Kneisha Stapleton; brothers, Peter Hill and Cornelius Hill; grandchildren, Justice Woodson, Yrral Stapleton, Jayla Woodson, Ma’layasia Stapleton, NyAnna Stapleton, Ja’Kira Woodson, KaTyra Davis, Larry Stapleton III, “CeeCee” (ChaVaughn) Stapleton, Kayla Devreax, Kaylan Devreax; great granddaughter, IsaBella Shelton; boyfriend, Douglas Mixon; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earnest Hill Sr., her mother,  Letha Hill, a sister, Christine Hill, her brothers, Earnest Hill Jr., Douglas Hill, and Bobby Hill.
