Mother Queen E. Green
Queen Esther Green, age 95, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 2, 2021. She was born November 21, 1925, in Uniontown, Alabama.
On December 26, 1945, Queen united in marriage with Lloyd Edward Green and to this union five children were born.
Surviving are three daughters, Gussie Lee Green, Ella Mae Green, and Mary L. Fuller; one son, Charles Edward Green all of Fort Wayne; a sister-in-law, Johnnie May Green of Pell City, Alabama; grandchildren, Aretha C. Green, Antoya C. Green of Fort Wayne, Aletha C. Green of Detroit, Michigan and Andre C. Edwards of Slidell, Louisiana. She also leaves five great granddaughters, Alandra Green, Mikayla Schaab, Haley Shaw, Ava Green and Aja Green; three great grandsons, Justin Stephens, Andre Edwards Jr., and Aidan Green, five great-great granddaughters and one great-great grandson, numerous nieces, nephews, and a close friend, Mary Gaston.
Queen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lloyd Edward; her son, Lloyd William; her daughter, Patricia Irene; her parents, and her eight siblings.
Services are at 11AM Saturday, October 16, 2021 preceded by the viewing at 10 AM at New Covenant Worship Center 3420 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
