Roland King

Roland Boyd King was born on January 15, 1965, to the late Eugene Sr. and Ella King. He was the 10th child out of 13 children; 5 boys and 8 girls. Roland graduated from Northrop High School and attended Vincennes College, studying to be a T.V. Cameraman.

Roland never married or had children of his own, but he certainly loved his nieces and nephews and everyone else's children.

Roland was one of the best cooks at Big Eyed Fish and was a bartender at several bars around the city. He was a gamer and loved watching sports. Roland enjoyed hanging out and cooking with his friends. Despite all of his hardships, Roland was excited and looking forward to all the positive changes coming in his life.

Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Ella King, and two sisters, Maggie A. Wright and Norma J. Brown.

Roland leaves to cherish his memory: Siblings Eugene (Lenette) King, Anita Winston, Darlene (Albert) Crutchfiield, Carmen (Reginald) Moore, Keith (Carol) King, Sheila Young, Jacqueline Wimbley, Patrick King, Tracy Woodget, Chad King; a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends, and special friends from Big Eyed Fish, Christy and Eric Andrews.
