Tomie Davis Jr.

Mr. Tomie Davis Jr., the son of the late Tomie Sr. and Gertrude E. Davis, was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on June 4, 1935. He attended elementary and Junior High School in Blytheville.

Mr. Tomie learned at a very early age form his Mother to love the Lord and to embrace life. He could bring a smile to anyone and keep them smiling. Tomie was a very giving person.

Mr. Tomie he follow in his to oldest brothers footsteps and choose a career path of truck driving. He drove trucks for several years as well as being self employed as a salesman.

Mr. Tomie Davis, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2019 in Fort Wayne, Indiana at the age of 84 years and 2 months. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank, Alvin and Oliver Davis and his sisters, Jean Stephens and Gertie Ware.

Mr. Tomie Davis, Jr. leaves to cherish his memory: two brothers, Charles (Deborah) Davis and Johnny (Eileen) Davis; and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Lutheran Life Villages.
