A Reflection of Tracey’s Life

Tracey Lynn Grant was born June 8, 1966 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Ernestine (Williams) Robinson and the late Ronald Grant. Tracey accepted Christ at an early age at Friendship Baptist Church. She transitioned from life to be with the Lord on July 13, 2024. Tracey graduated from South Side high School, Class of 1984. She was well known and had many, many friends.

Tracey and her spouse, James Taylor were blessed with three (3) children: Adrian Grant. Alexis Grant and Dynasty Gaston. As well as five grandchildren, Arelius, J’leiana, J’ceion, K’Marie and Ian, who she loved dearly.

Tracey loved to cook, dance and play spades. She had a big heart and displayed compassion for strangers, as well as people she held close. Tracey was “One in a Million!”

Tracey leaves to cherish her memories with her mother, Ernestine Robinson and stepfather, Willie Robinson; stepmother, Elizabeth Ingol; children, Adrean, Alexis and Dynasty; sisters, Lisa Grant, Ronda Grant, Patricia Williams, Sonya Murdock, Sonya Derrick, and Sherita Gaston; step sisters with love; one brother, Terrance Williams; goddaughter, Brittany Bell; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, other family and friends.

Tracey was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Grant; grandparents, Ednola Williams and Henry Williams; grandmother, Willie Mae; and her Uncle Eli Grant.
