William Lee Dodds

            William Lee Dodds was born on January 14th, 1948, in Doddsville, Mississippi. He was one of six children, born to Thomas and Annie Dodds. As a young child he moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana with his family in 1952.  He departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

          William attended Central High School, where he was one of the top wrestlers. As a young adult William worked several jobs and he retired from Vee Engineering later in his life. William enjoyed riding his bike and spending time with family and friends.

          He was proceeded in death by his parents, Thomas and Annie Dodds. His siblings, Walter McGraw, Thomas Dodds Jr., Cleave Dodds, Roselvelt Dodds, Pearlie Mae Dodds-Finan, and Eunice D. Dodds.

Left to cherish in his memory are his five children, Anthony Cooper of Fort Wayne, Celesta Carter of Dayton, Ohio, William Amos, Idris Amos, and  Kitanja Amos all of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
