Willie A. Thomas, son of the late John and Lizzie Mae Thomas, was born January 22, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  

Willie was a devoted father, a family man and a very friendly neighbor as well.  He was a a creative and clever spirit.  He was an avid craftsman and always enjoyed working with his hands.  Willie was a music enthusiast and loved to entertain his friends and family.  Willie was an avid animal lover and spent a lot of time with his #1 buddy Salem.  

On July 2, 2023, Mr. Willie A.Thomas peacefully passed away at the age of sixty four years.  He was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Johnnie and sisters Mary Jane, Yvonne and Carolyn (Angel), nieces Tinisha and Shari.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife and life partner Lynda of Fort Wayne, IN; his daughter, Kyndra (Chris) of Kalamazoo, MI and daughter, Andrea (Roddrick) of Fort Wayne, IN; his grandson, Dashawn (Tomesha) and Justin of Fort Wayne, IN; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Dannis of Dallas, TX, Barbara of Houston,TX, Stanford of Athens, AL; Larry of Anthwerp, OH and Nettie Mae of Cleveland, OH; and an abundance of nieces, nephews and friends. 

Services to be held at The Ellis Funeral Home on Friday, July 7th at 1:00pm.  There will be a wake before the funeral service from 11:00 -1:00pm.
