Estella D. White was born May 7, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  At the age of 67, she passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at home.

Estella accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and was baptized.  She was a member of the Waynedale Baptist Church.

She was a 1968 graduate of Central High School and received an A.S. degree in Human Services from IVY Tech.

In March 1977, she received an honorable discharge from the United States Army.

In 2001, she retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools as a bus driver and recently retired from Allen Co. Community Corrections in 2015.

Surviving are her children, Clarence (Kelli) Parker, Deidre (Lamin)Tate-Ceesay, Saheeda and Kenneth (Tishie) White; adopted child, Jason Young (Gertrude Keller); brother, William (Brandy) Fortune; sister, Doris J. Buford; nine grandchildren, Alexis, Devlon, Darius, DeMarcus, Ken’Aisa, Kaliyah, Kenneth III, Alahny and DeMarion and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander S. and Frances R. Fortune and husband, Kenneth B. White in 1998.
